Dear NTHA Members:
With the crushing economic effects of the COVID-19 crisis on our city’s most vulnerable families, the need for Food Banks is escalating dramatically while the opportunities for physical donations dwindle.
I am challenging our North Toronto community to consider – if you are able – a financial contribution of any size to the Daily Bread Food Bank. This urgently-needed money will go directly to the purchase of essential foods for vulnerable families in our city hit hard by this crisis.
PLUS, until March 31 all donations will be matched by the Sprott Foundation so your contribution will go twice as far!
Stay well and thank you for your consideration and support
North Toronto will again this year be selling T-shirts (new shirt style with a new design) to help promote awareness and help support the cause.

NT Vice President Rich Brewda explains to Global News AM how our hockey club is supporting the Green Shirt Day movement.
Following the rapid escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hockey Canada has cancelled all hockey on-ice and off-ice activities related to the 2019-20 season.
Further, the OHF has announced that NO tryouts for the 2020-21 season will be held in the spring. These governing bodies are currently working on schedules and policies for next season. The full text of these decisions is available here:
