North Toronto Mourns the Loss of Coach Kelly Thomson

It was with great sadness that the North Toronto Hockey Association and its members learned of the passing of Kelly Thomson, the Head Coach of our 2005 Bantam AA team. Kelly passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of April 21st, 2019 while visiting his family in London, Ontario for the Easter Holiday.

Kelly, who recently celebrated his 34th birthday, was a non-parent volunteer coach who had a great deal of passion for hockey as well as incredible dedication to his team and our hockey club. Kelly will be greatly missed by his family, friends, players, parent group and by all of us at the North Toronto Hockey Association.

A celebration of Kelly's life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington Street, London, ON.

As an expression of sympathy, the family has asked that donations be made to www.Prusty4Kids.com, a charity started by his former London Knights teammate Brandon Prust.

Please keep Kelly’s family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
