Learn to Play Dates for 2018/2019

Please find the dates that Learn to Play will be held. If the date isn't showing we either don't have the ice, it's a holiday or there is no program of any kind for NTHA.

Mondays - Oct. 15,22,29  Nov. 5,12,19,26  Dec. 3,10,17 (No Dec. 24,31)  Jan. 7,14,21,28,  Feb. 4,11,25  Mar. 4,25 (No Feb. 18, Mar. 11,18) -

2018/2019 House League Season Details

The following house league programs will be offered at North Toronto for the 2018/2019 season. If you have any questions please email Chris Thompson at hl@nthockey.ca or Kathey Carrington at registrar@nthockey.ca

  • Initiation Program (I.P 6) -formerly Tyke (2012)
    • Saturday at North Toronto - ice will be split into 4 zones. Small ice games on the two end zones, skills in the middle.
    • Game times on Saturday will either be 7am or 8am
    • Sunday at De La Salle at 1pm for the "CDS" players and 12pm for the non-CDS players.
    • Sunday will focus on practices, drills, skills run by the coaches with assistance from CPHC.
    • No Referees, No Goalies, No Scores and No Standings
    • One Final Festival on April 6th will celebrate the season and hand out awards.
  • Minor Novice(U7) (2011)
    • Games will be Half ice.
    • MN non-CDS games are 1145am
    • MN CDS games are 1255pm
    • 4 teams will be on the ice (play 2 half games)
    • Sunday skills
      • Non-CDS : Upper Canada College Sunday at 8am
      • CDS: Rinx 2 Sunday at 910am
    • Referees and Goalies but No Scores and No Standings
    • One Final Festival on April 6th will celebrate the season and hand out awards.
  • Novice U8(2010)
    • Games will be Half Ice
    • Non-Select team games will be 440pm  (4 teams on the ice)
    • Select Games will be at 215 or 325 (4 teams each start time)
    • Sunday Skills will be:
      • Non-Select = Upper Canada College at 9am
      • Select Skills teams 1,2,3 and 4 = Rinx 2 at 1010am
      • Select Skills teams 5,6,7,8 = Rinx 2 at 1110am
    • Referees and Goalies but No Scores and No Standings
    • One Final Festival on April 6th will celebrate the season and hand out awards.
  • Minor Atom (2009) and Atom (2008)
    • $ 550
    • Sunday mornings at North Toronto (Start times alternate between 7,750,840,930)
    • Skills sessions will be held at the onset of the season, and right after the holiday break, but primarily full ice games.
    • Teams will be a mix of select players and housleague players.
    • Re-balancing will take place after the season starts to ensure balanced division as much as possible.
  • Minor Peewee/Peewee (2006/2007) 
    • $550
    • Games will be full ice, once per week at North Toronto. Game times will be Sundays at NT at 1040am and 1140am
    • Teams will be a mix of select players and housleague players, from both age groups.
    • Re-balancing will take place after the season starts to ensure balanced division as much as possible.
  • Minor Bantam/Bantam (2004/2005)
    • $550
    • Games all played Sunday at De La Salle late morning at 10am and 11am
    • Teams will be a mix of select players and housleague players, from both age groups.
  • Midget (2001/2002/2003)
    • $475
    • Games all played Sunday afternoon at North Toronto Arena at 1240,140 and 240pm.
    • Teams will be a mix of Minor Midget, Midget Jr and Midget Sr players and will have a balance of select players and non-select players.

Friday at 5pm - De La Salle Arena

Saturdays at North Toronto Arena

  • LTP3 - 9:05-9:55am
  • LTP2 - 9:55-10:45am
  • LTP1 - 10:45a5-11:35am

Mondays at Forest Hill

  • LTP 1 - 5-6pm
  • LTP 2   6-7 PM
  • LTP 1 and 2 7-8 pm (Small Ice)

Mandatory for all GTHL, Select and Houseleague Families

The Respect In Sport Certification Program: 

Hockey Canada, the OHF and the GTHL are mandating that all families of registered players must complete the Respect in Sport Program before the season starts.

Players will not be allowed to step onto ice until a parent has completed the course.
