Thank you for your interest in the 47th annual North Toronto Christmas Tournament. This year the tournament dates run from December 26th to December 31st and we expect to host over 100 teams in all age groups and divisions including an International Team from Norway in the Bantam Division.

Games will be played at North Toronto Memorial Arena, Forest Hill Larry Grossman Memorial Arena, and St. Michael's Arena, (all are centrally located in the Toronto area). Games will be played throughout the day and into late evenings on all preliminary and elimination round days.

Teams must possess an approved travel permit from their respective regulatory Branch, which indicates that they are excused from all Branch participation during that period. Due to the number of teams and games involved, we are unfortunately not able to schedule around any league or tournament commitments. We will be running divisions from Tyke to Senior Midget. Each birth year has a separate division, with “A” and “B” tiers offered in Novice and Minor Novice, depending on demand.

NO GATE FEE

The entry fee includes admission to all games for coaches, managers, players and spectators. Once your application form and payment are received, you will be contacted by e-mail to confirm that your team is registered in the tournament.

Eligibility:

For Minor Atom (2002) and older, House League Select teams, or equivalent M/D, A/E, MHL Mississauga Red, or Brampton Inter-City teams are the target competitive level for our tournament. Some MHL teams below Red may also wish to apply, and are welcome. For Novice (2002) and younger, all levels of teams may apply, and the tournament committee will group the entrants into tiers wherever possible

Format:

Teams will play a minimum of three preliminary round games. Finalists may play up to five, or in rare circumstances, six tournament games through the finals, depending on the number of teams registered in their division.

Schedule:

A Master Tournament Schedule will be posted on this website in December and emailed to registered teams. Division schedules for elimination round games and Finals will be posted to the Tournament website as the Tournament draws closer.

Your official roster must be entered on-line. The online roster is used for the purposes of printing the Tournament Program and sign-in sheets, so please keep it up to date and ensure it is finalized by December 7, 2011.

For North American teams, rosters can include as many as 20 players in total, which must include by name all Affiliated Players may only dress for ONE team for the entire tournament.
