NTHA 2010/11 House League & Learn to Play
Thank you for your interest in the North Toronto Hockey Association House League and Learn to Play programs. Our programs are co ed (with the exception of the Girls Learn to Play) offered to boys and girls aged 4 to 19 years old (as of December 31 2010) in the North Toronto community. Preference in registration is offered to residents of North Toronto in the postal codes beginning with M4N, M4P, M4R, M4S, M4T, M4V & M5M, M5N & M5P and to players who have played in the NTHA the previous year. Should space exist after a 45 day closed registration period we will accept players outside of the local community.
We expect over 1,300 participants in the House League and Learn to Play program for the 2010/11 Season. The majority of our House League games are played at North Toronto Arena on Saturday and Sunday. As well, because of the increase demand for our program the Minor Midgets play all of their games at De La Salle Arena and the Minor Novice and Novice play half of the season at De La Salle and the other half at North Toronto. We have Learn to Play sessions at North Toronto, De La Salle and Forest Hill Arenas.
Please note that we will not accept any requests for players to be assigned to the same team, unless the players are siblings. Please do not email requests to the Registrar, the House League Chair or the convenor, emails with requests will not be answered nor will the requests be honoured. There are over 1,300 participants in the House League program at NT and many volunteers helping to make the program a great experience for your player, the time involved in sorting and placing requests is far too onerous, thank you for your understanding.
Each year when required the convenors make trades to balance the teams. This year the trade deadline for all House League teams will be November 19th. Any player may be traded at this time in order to make all teams in the division balanced. We are aware that it is sometimes difficult for a player to move to another team mid season, and all convenors do their best to keep trades to a minimum. Your cooperation is appreciated.
